Red Rock Relay Moab

Spent last weekend in Moab, UT running the Red Rock Relay Moab race.  It is a 70 mile relay race that starts at sunrise and goes until sunset.  Each team has 6 runners who each run 2 legs of the relay. It was a BLAST! We ran a huge loop starting in Moab, running next to the Colorado River and Arches National Park, Castle Valley, the La Sal Mountains, and Spnaish Valley back into Moab.  Our team finished 24th out of 150.   To check out more details and maps of each leg, refer to the link below.  Be sure to watch the video on the site, it shows our team finishing. (We are the rag-tag team they show right after the team in all black, and right before the team in all pink)

The dream team consisted of Sarah, Brenda, Steve, Meghan, Myself, and Jamen.  I went into the weekend only knowing one person, but after spending 24 hours together doing something very challenging, we all felt like great buddies afterwards.  Thanks Brenda for the invite!!

I have included a few of my favorite photos from the weekend.  Enjoy!

Jamen running by the halfway point, 35 miles back to town.

Great trip, great post! I might have to steal some of your pics for my blog post about the RRR. Yes, I know it's been a month, kind of embarrassing :)
